Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before enrolling in any Synaptiq programme or using our platform. By accessing our services, you agree to the conditions described below.

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Synaptiq's online learning programmes and educational materials. They apply to all learners, visitors, and anyone who accesses our platform or enquires about our services.

Definitions

Throughout these Terms, the following words have the meanings given below:

  • "Synaptiq" / "We" / "Us" / "Our" — refers to Synaptiq, an online AI development school operating from 210 Thanon Phuket, Talat Yai, Phuket 83000, Thailand.
  • "Service" — refers to all learning programmes, workshops, mentorship sessions, course materials, and any related educational content or support offered by Synaptiq.
  • "User" / "You" / "Your" — refers to any individual who accesses our website, enquires about our programmes, or enrols in a course.
  • "Content" — refers to all text, video, code samples, documentation, and other materials made available as part of any programme.
  • "Agreement" — refers to these Terms & Conditions together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
  • "Platform" — refers to the Synaptiq website and any associated digital learning environments.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our platform, submitting an enquiry form, or enrolling in any programme, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to enrol in a programme or create an account.
  • You confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under the laws of your country of residence.
  • Where a company or organisation is enrolling on behalf of an employee, the individual accepting these Terms must have authority to bind that organisation.

Service Description

Synaptiq provides online educational programmes focused on AI development and machine learning fundamentals. Our current programme catalogue includes:

  • Mentorship & Portfolio Program — structured mentoring sessions with portfolio project guidance (฿3,500)
  • Language Model Building Workshop — practical sessions on tokenization, fine-tuning, and model evaluation (฿8,400)
  • AI Development Fundamentals — a structured course on Python, data handling, and machine learning foundations (฿12,250)

Programme details, schedules, and formats may be updated from time to time. Synaptiq reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any programme with reasonable notice. All educational content is provided for informational and skill-building purposes only and does not constitute professional, technical, or career advice.

User Accounts

Access to certain programme materials may require you to create a learner account. When doing so:

  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and not sharing them with others.
  • You must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration.
  • You agree to notify us promptly if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
  • Synaptiq reserves the right to suspend or close accounts that are found to be in violation of these Terms.
  • Upon account closure, access to programme content may be revoked at Synaptiq's discretion.

User Responsibilities

When using our platform or participating in any programme, you agree to conduct yourself in a respectful and constructive manner. The following activities are not permitted:

  • Sharing, copying, or redistributing programme content without written permission from Synaptiq.
  • Submitting false, misleading, or harmful information through any form or communication channel.
  • Attempting to access systems, materials, or accounts that you are not authorised to use.
  • Using our platform or materials in ways that could cause harm to other users, third parties, or Synaptiq.
  • Engaging in behaviour that disrupts the learning environment for other participants.
  • Reproducing Synaptiq's proprietary frameworks, code samples, or documentation for commercial distribution.

Synaptiq reserves the right to remove any user from a programme without refund if conduct violates these guidelines and undermines the experience of other learners.

Intellectual Property

All course content, curriculum materials, code examples, lesson frameworks, and branding used on our platform are the property of Synaptiq or its content partners, and are protected under applicable intellectual property laws.

  • Enrolled learners are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use programme content for personal, non-commercial learning purposes only.
  • This licence does not permit reproduction, distribution, resale, or creation of derivative works without prior written consent.
  • Portfolio projects created by learners using their own original work remain the property of the learner. Synaptiq claims no ownership over learner-generated work.
  • Any feedback, suggestions, or contributions shared with Synaptiq may be used to improve our programmes without compensation or attribution obligations.

Payment Terms

All programme fees are stated in Thai Baht (฿) and are payable in full prior to enrolment confirmation unless a payment plan has been agreed in writing.

  • Accepted payment methods will be communicated at the time of enrolment.
  • Prices are subject to change. Any change in pricing will not affect programmes already confirmed and paid for.
  • Refund policy: Requests for refunds must be submitted in writing to [email protected] within 7 days of enrolment. Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis. No refund will be issued once course access has been granted and materials accessed.
  • In the event a scheduled programme is cancelled by Synaptiq, enrolled participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to an equivalent programme.

Course Enrolment Terms

The following terms apply specifically to educational programmes offered by Synaptiq:

  • Enrolment is confirmed upon receipt of full payment and an enrolment confirmation email from Synaptiq.
  • Course schedules, cohort sizes, and session formats may vary between programmes. These details are provided at the time of enrolment.
  • Learners are expected to attend scheduled sessions and complete assigned exercises to the best of their ability. Participation contributes to the quality of the learning experience for all participants.
  • Completion of a programme does not constitute accreditation, professional qualification, or any form of regulated certification. Programmes are offered as educational experiences only.
  • Synaptiq may issue programme completion records or portfolio summaries at its discretion. These documents represent participation in an educational programme and should not be represented as formal credentials.
  • Academic integrity is expected. Submitting others' work as your own or misrepresenting project contributions is grounds for removal from a programme.

Disclaimers

Synaptiq's programmes are designed to support learning and skill development. However, we make no representations regarding specific outcomes, employment prospects, or technical proficiency levels that any individual learner will achieve.

  • Programme content is provided for educational purposes and represents the views and approaches of the curriculum team at the time of writing. It is not a substitute for professional technical advice.
  • The platform and course materials are provided "as available". We endeavour to maintain consistent access but cannot warrant uninterrupted availability of digital resources.
  • Links to third-party tools, libraries, or documentation are provided for reference and do not constitute endorsement by Synaptiq.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under applicable law, Synaptiq's total liability to any user in connection with our services shall not exceed the amount paid by that user for the specific programme giving rise to the claim.

  • Synaptiq shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use or inability to use our services.
  • We are not responsible for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, including natural events, utility outages, internet disruptions, or government actions.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Thai law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Synaptiq, its team members, mentors, and representatives from and against any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your use of our platform, or any infringement of third-party rights caused by your actions while using our services.

Termination

Either party may choose to end the relationship under these Terms:

  • You may withdraw from a programme at any time, subject to the refund policy set out in Section 7.
  • Synaptiq may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, and will attempt to notify you unless circumstances make this impractical.
  • Upon termination, your licence to access programme materials ceases. Provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, and dispute resolution survive termination.

Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us first to seek an informal resolution.

  • Please send any formal concerns in writing to [email protected]. We aim to respond within 10 business days.
  • If informal resolution is not possible, disputes will be referred to the competent courts of Phuket Province, Thailand, unless alternative arrangements are required under applicable consumer protection legislation.
  • Neither party waives any rights by attempting informal resolution first.

General Provisions

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the full agreement between you and Synaptiq.
  • Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
  • Waiver: Failure by Synaptiq to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of the right to do so in future.
  • Assignment: You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written consent. Synaptiq may transfer these Terms as part of a business restructure or merger, with notice to affected users.
  • Notices: Formal notices to Synaptiq should be sent to [email protected] or to our registered address.

Changes to Terms

Synaptiq may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, applicable law, or operational practices. When we do, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. We will notify enrolled learners of material changes by email where possible. Continued use of our platform following any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
